MOVING ON

"Lypsinka! As I Lay Lip-Synching" has closed and it was a lot of fun. Now it's time to move on to other projects. Here are some shots from the last weeks. A week before the closing I performed at an Actors' Fund benefit at The New Amsterdam Theater on Broadway, former site of "The Ziegfeld Follies" and now the home of "The Lion King." Backstage I met one of my favorite Broadway stars, Donna McKechnie, the original Cassie in "A Chorus Line" and a performer in many other shows.

Studly Craig Bierko and I will be starring together in the Broadway musical "The Reproducers." Nathan Lane will referee.

Tiny Marisa Tomei will have a little boring, ordinary, nothing of a part in my next movie "My Cousin Lyppy."

The night after the Lypsinka show closed, I hosted a benefit for the children's literacy foundation EVERYBODY WINS. Seated in the front row were gorgeous knockout actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (star of the best movie I've seen in years, Brian DePalma's misappreciated "Femme Fatale") and her husband John Stamos. Carson Kressley read a David Sedaris Christmas story to the crowd.

One of the best movies of the past several years.
